One fine day in Koh Kham

Koh Kham, an amazing surprised for this trip…

First at all I’ve to tell you that I’m not a kind of “stay with the strict plan” person. I love a surprise especially when I’m traveling so I’ll do just a loose plan for my traveling like booking for a flight and a hotel room, and about the other things I’ll walk or drive around and talk to the local people. I found this amazing island this way.

Koh Kham is only 1 km away from Koh Mak where you can go by kayaking or walking during low tide but I went there by a small engine boat (the green one behind me in the picture below). It was so surprised to discover the whitest and powderiest island in the gulf of Thailand. (normally you’ll see this kind of island in Andaman Sea)

The clear water and the white sand beach attracted me to spend my all day with. I just sleep under the huge tree, swimming , playing on the swing to dry my body and go to swim again. Which is unusual for the person who is a very high-maintenance like me.

So this is the place you must visit if you stay in Koh Mak.

How to visit : The boat to Koh Kham is available on 10 am to 5 pm, 3 times a day. You can buy a boat ticket at Koh Mak Resort front office.
